Physician Credentialing Services

Professional Practice Resources provides physicians with a complete and full service credentialing department. Physician credentialing can be performed with the insurance carriers and networks of your choice. These include Medicare, Medicaid, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Commercial carriers, and Workman's Compensation carriers just to name a few. The PPR credentialing department also provides frontline knowledge to our clients on the latest trends in provider identification information such as the National Provider Identifier (NPI) and the Coalition for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH).

Our physician credentialing experts will fill out the applications for you. You will be provided with a dedicated specialist who will provide constant follow-up and feedback and the assurance that applications are completely filled out correctly the first time. This task can be performed for one carrier or multiple carriers and networks.

Credentialing has a well-earned reputation as a labor-intensive, tedious process. In order to comply with the current requirements of regulatory governmental agencies and insurance providers, credentialing for specialties such as Cardiology, Urology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Neurology, Hospitalists, Radiology, Pathology, Emergency Room Medicine and multiple other specialties have taken on a new dimension in the US. The process is more complex, requiring a persistent tenacity to ensure that your application does not just sit on the provider’s desk. Credentialing is no longer a part-time assignment; it requires the full-time attention of trained credentialing specialists. A specialist will provide constant monitoring to assure your applications are completed and returned in the quickest possible timeframe.
